I did find my size, so that was nice, but one of the colors I wanted were out.

I mostly wear my ariat boots when I’m riding, and they’ve been comfortable in the stirrups. The grip is decent, and they don’t feel too bulky, which I appreciate. They did take sorta longer to break in than I expected though, and after a few months the stitching started looking a little rough. Overall they’re not bad boots, just not quite amazing for the price.

I had to wait longer than I expected, which made me wonder if anything was actually being done at first. Support did eventually get it fixed, so I’ll give them credit for that, but I was definitely a bit unsure during the process.

I wasn’t totally sure these boots would be that easy to keep clean, but they’ve been okay so far. After barn chores, most of the dirt wipes off without much effort. Mud does get stuck in the seams a bit, which is annoying, but overall it’s not the big cleaning hassle I expected

I had a feeling these boots would be good for chilly mornings, and they kind of proved me right. They keep my feet warm for regular daily wear and quick trips outside. I wouldn’t say they’re perfect if it’s seriously freezing or you’re standing around in deep cold, but for normal cold mornings, the insulation feels solid.

I’ll admit I probably should’ve paid closer attention to the sizing info, but I’m used to wearing the same size in most brands, so I didn’t think too much about it. The toe area felt a bit tight, while the heel was kind of loose, which made the fit feel a little awkward. They don’t seem like a bad pair of boots at all, I just wish the sizing details were a little clearer. I might try going a half size up next time and see if that works better...
